Philly has been getting rocked by snow. Last week we had 28 inches. Now we're getting a blizzard. They declared a state of emergency and shut down most major highways. No work for me today so that's always nice but I hate shoveling out. We lost power for a while which sucks! Any of you midwest or west coast people want some snow? Us east coasters have plenty to spare.

No thanks....We've gotten the biggest snow storm of around 6 inches last night. I'm used to getting s*** like you mentioned above on the West side by the lake (Think buffalo in NY) and that's what its like in western MI.

I"M LOVING IT, Snow is neat and all but its more annoyting then fun

63,000 people are without power here so they are turning schools into shelters. The damn snow is still falling. Looks like no work for me tomorrow either. PA and NJ remain in a state of emergency with all non essential offices closed tomorrow. This is the third storm we've had with over 20 inches of snow so far. That is a record for our area in one winter. This is nutty.

I'd gladly take some off your hands, it sounds pretty crappy and we can spare some of that white stuff here in MI

Well the people around here are freaking out but it was only about 6-8 inches. It wasn't bad.. Oakland University had a snow day yesterday and I don't know why lol.

We actually got a second snow before the first one was completely melted! That's very rare down here, but we haven't gotten nearly what you guys are getting on the east coast heh. I would love about a foot of snow but not that much

Where i'm at in La, they closed my university for the rest of today and tomorrow, because of a winter weather warning. lol It has barely started to snow and people are saying we're suppose to be getting up to 5 inches of snow. This is stupid, we're getting snow in La. but they are having to import snow in f***ing canada for the damn olympics. Anyone else find that really really retarded?

Yeah I hear you all are supposed to be getting 5 inches or so mumym, people down here can barely drive to begin with let alone in snow, best to stay inside.

It's snowed here twice in the past two years, last year we got 9 inches where I am, and this year we got 1-2 at best.

It's gotten crazy here. There are downed trees and collapsed roofs here and there. Power lines are down all over the place. There's been some deaths from collapsed buildings. Someone was found dead in a snow bank. Not sure how that happens but it's a bad way to die. 70 inches in the last week and we're getting more on Monday!!! Major highways in Philly are finally re-opening. A new ice age is starting in the NorthEast United States.

SOUTH PHILLY BABY!!!

Show us some pics outside of your place Jay,

I thought it was always sunny in philadelphia ? hardy har har.

p.s. I also did a little research, the old place where I used to live

Grand Rapids over the past 8-9 years average's 90 inches a year. I believe last year they got 110+. So I feel your pain my friend with what your dealing with.

How many total inches has philly gotten this year? 85?
