Yes it is true. I have resubbed my SWG account and have been playing for the past three weeks. I am very satisfied with the changes and heroic instance groups. The DEVS have done ALOT of work: there is more content, the professions have depth to them and each have a unique person (more mundane than Jedi running around), all planets, bosses, and creatures had a level pass done on them so now you cant solo Krayts etc. PvP is very fun now with the collection system and rank rewards, even space has been redone with new ships, landable Space station, and tier 10 NPC ships.

Unfortunately the population has grown but not at the rate I would have hoped. But we are still having a fun time. I usually hang out on the BZ Vent which houses members from various rebel guilds, so by doing so there are always people for us to chill with and do stuff with. I am trying to rebuild WOOK, but it is difficult, I am still having fun hanging out with the Rebel Alliance and such. We are in the process of organizing the Galactic Civil War week that is set for the 3rd week of May.

All I know is having fun and I needed my Star Wars fix, if you feel like trying it out again, ill be more than happy to help, just so much has changed im still figuring it out so please do some digging on the forums to read the changes for yourself.

Also it has been speculated* that a New Planet will be adding this summer!!

I take it back, this game held my interest for a month, its still a 2D pice of s***.  Sorry for wasting ur time.

I'm sure everyone has noticed that the site has had an extended period of down time. That was due to a server crash.

Everything is up and running again now, and the server has been upgraded, so you should notice a marked improvement in load times.
